McCool Home, McCool Supply and Trident Thermal Solutions started on a trip to Ireland, not in a boardroom.

Jon Byrnes and his wife spent the trip walking the places their families left behind, from Dublin's Temple Bar to Quay Street in Galway, and up to the Antrim coast.
stone columns, and one very good story.
At the Giant's Causeway, the guides tell the legend of Fionn mac Cumhaill, better known as Finn McCool, the giant said to have built a road of stone across the sea to Scotland.
That's where the name McCool Supply came from. Jon kept notes on the idea for about six months before he ever spoke with MRCOOL. The match came later, and we'll take it.
Six sides, set tight, built to last.
Most of the Causeway's columns are hexagons, fitted together so closely you can walk across them. The Trident Thermal Solutions mark is an emerald hexagon in that same shape.
